Workshop: Teaching Visuals - The Pedagogy of Visual & Digital Anthropology

Drawing on the established research traditions within visual anthropology, this workshop will focus on the pedagogy of deploying visual and digital media in fieldwork across a range of disciplines, including anthropology, sociology and media and cultural studies.

Scanning Digital Visuality

“Scanning Digital Visuality” is the first workshop in a series of activities planned for the network. The aim of this “kick-off” meeting is to plan network activities and to discuss papers that network members plan to submit for publication. Network members are encouraged to present work that is going to be published in international journals or conferences, in order to get feedback in their last stages before publication. Distinguished scholars will be invited to comment and discuss the papers.
